NDLEA Raids Drug Dealer’s Home, Seized 200.7kg Of Cannabis



The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has seized cannabis sativa weighing 200.7 kg from the home of a suspected drug dealer in the state.

The state commandant of the agency, Mr Yakubu Kibo,  said, the cannabis, concealed in 235 parcels was seized at Alhaji Ali’s residence in Lafia town in Lamude LGA of the state.

The agency also paraded two suspected drug dealers, while assuring  that the NDLEA would apprehend  Ali the alleged kingpin now at large.

“The suspect is currently at large, but we will get him. We will remain in pursuit of him for as long as it takes us to find and arrest him to face the law,” Kibo added.

Kibo said  one Victor Abel, from Vunuklan, and Bala Aminu, from the Jimeta Modern Market, were also arrested for  supplying the populace with prohibited drugs.

He said the two would be charged and prosecuted according to the law and appealed to the members of the general public, to help in whatever way they can in the fight against illicit drug dealings.
