Chieftains of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State have described the victory of President Muhammad Buhari at the just concluded presidential poll as a show of support and a reward for integrity and performance on security and fight against corruption.
The Party Chieftains and members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Tare Amatare a member of the contact and mobilisation committee, Hon. Ebitimi Angbare and Hon. Preye Aganaba, said though the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar gave a fair showing, the Nigerian people have declared with their vote that they are on faithful ground with President Muhammad Buhari.
Hon. Tare Amatare, who is from Troffani area of Sagbama state, noted that the victory of the President Buhari is a confirmation that Nigerians are standing on faithful ground with this administration. I used to tell people that Buhari is the most honest and discussed leader the country has ever seen and no one can defeat him. He is a leader that Nigeria trust.”
“With the victory, Buhari will reward Nigerians with more and consistent fight against corruption and insecurity. Buhari is like a deity and Nigerians are faithful with him. Some said he is a religious bigot, but his cook and driver are Christians. The Igbos are ingrates. BUSARI gave them three substantive ministers and completed projects abandoned.Buhari will take Nigerians to the next level. ”
Also speaking, a member of the contact and mobilisation committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Ebitimi Angbare, said the victory and reelection of President Muhammad Buhari is a thing of joy, “we had a reason to market him and we thank Nigerians for believing in a good, dependable and faithful candidate of President Muhammad Buhari ”
In his reaction, Hon. Preye Aganaba, said Nigerians voted for integrity because a good name such as President Muhammad BUSARI is better than I’ll acquired riches,”President BUSARI should continue from where he started and Nigerians should continue to encourage him to tackle corruption and insecurity through Boko Haram”
Aganaba called on the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to accept the verdict of Nigerians on the re-election of President Muhammad Buhari, “it is a fair contest and keenly fought. “
