2023: APC Youth Lauds Gov. Bello’s Appointment As Youth Coordinator 

APC Youth and Students Movement (APC-YSM) has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi on his appointment as the National Youth Co-ordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.

According to him, there is no better person for the position, given his impressive political achievements, exemplary leadership and strong connection with young people across the nation.

Last week, in a letter titled, ‘Appointment as National Youth Coordinator for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council’, Tinubu said Bello will champion an effective, message-driven campaign which would lead to the party’s victory in 2023.

Reacting to the development in a statement on Sunday,its National Coordinator, Comrade Olamide Odumosu described Bello as a bridge between the young and older generations as well as the north and south.

According to Odumosu, “On our path, we will do our all to ensure this assignment is achieved by mobilising millions of our members across the country to vote for Senator Ahmed Tinubu Asiwaju in the 2023 Presidential Elections.”

He also said Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State will be the game-changer, noting that he will give the APC an edge over its rivals.

“Bello is the youngest governor in Nigeria today. Evidently, he understands the language of the youth of Nigeria.”

Odumosu, explained that this appointment is also a vote of confidence in Governor Yahaya Bello’s proven capacity in his present assignment as Kogi State Governor.

“It goes to strengthen the belief in informed quarters that Tinubu has a unique eye for star performers regardless of religion, tribe or gender. He is known for putting round pegs in round holes. This is what he has demonstrated with the appointment of Bello as National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.

“Nigerians should be rest assured that Tinubu will hit the ground running immediately he is sworn in as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with tested professionals well positioned to revitalise key sectors”,he said .
