2023: My Campaign Will Be Issue-based – Uba Sani

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Senator representing Kaduna Central and the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Uba Sani has disclosed that his campaign will be issue-based, devoid of any form of blackmail and personal attacks.

Sani stated this at the official Launching/Inauguration of Uba Sani Ambassadors (USA) in Kaduna.

 

“When the campaign starts, I have a lot to say to all of you and the people of Kaduna State. The politics we are focusing on are the politics of issues and I want to urge you to focus on the issue without blackmailing any opponent or any form of personal attacks.

“Our campaign organisation have already come up with some of the problems, but we will share them with you when the campaign starts at this critical time, I want to draw your attention to one and I wish you to focus on it.
“I want you to ask us representing you people our achievements, ask us what we have done for you people. It is not the politics of saying ‘I will do’, what have they done for you in the provision of healthcare services, education, infrastructure and human capital?
“You need to ask them these questions. In Kaduna State, we want to focus on politics of issues, take this as you are leaving here.”

Earlier in his speech, the chairman, Uba Sani Ambassadors, Musa Ibrahim Zamzam promised to mobilise one million votes for the governorship candidate.

Zamzam urged the State Working Committee to be optimistic in carrying out their duties once the campaign starts.

“On our part in the USA, we are assuring your Excellency in waiting that we have strategies on how to deliver the one million votes for you. Sir, we have 30 man steering committee, 39 zonal officers 13 officers at each local government and 14 officers at the ward level including various polling units and with all this arrangement, we are confident of delivering insha Allah,” he assured.
