2024 Sheroes Cup: Nasarawa Amazon Bounce Back, Heartland, Bayelsa Queens Secure Vital Wins

Nasarawa Amazons returned to winning ways after beating Honey Badgers 6-0 in their Match day 3 game of the ongoing 2024 Sheroes Cup in Abuja yesterday.

A brace from Akereromowei Janet, an own goal by Omolola Ibidun as well as goals from Omosuyi Ayowumi, Abdulwahab Farida and Etim Favour gave the Lafiya based club their first win in the competition after losing their opening match to Remo Stars on Tuesday.

Heartland Queens and Bayelsa Queens also recorded vital wins on match day 3 of Sheroes Cup, while Ekiti Queens and Abia Angels ended their tie in a 1-1 draw.

Patience Yaro gave Ekiti the lead in the 35th minute with a beautiful finish but Adeshina Rose snatched a point for Abia Angels in the 76th minute of play

Heartland Queens smashed Nazareth Ladies with six unreplied goals, with Chiemere Opara scoring a hat trick to scoop the Man of the Match.

Bayelsa Queens defeated Dannaz Ladies by two goals to nil. Uduakbong Monday gave Bayelsa the lead in the 31st minute before Grace Salisu double the lead sixteen minutes from time.

Match Day 4 will hold today with mouth watering encounters as Heartland and Bayelsa face-off in a battle of Queens, Nasarawa Amazons will trade tackle Ekiti Queens, while unbeaten Remo Stars Ladies will entertain struggling Honey badgers. Dannaz Ladies will battle host Naija Ratels.
