2025 Hajj: NAHCON Allocates 1,288 Seats To Yobe – Chairman

The Executive Chairman of the commission, Alh Mai Aliyu Usman said the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) has allocated 1288 seat to Yobe State for the 2025 hajj operations

The chairman stated this while addressing newsmen in office in Damaturu.

Usman who stated that Yobe commission and the pilgrims have done well during the 2024 hajj exercise stated that there might be possibility of more seats by NAHCON to the state if the need arises.

He further said in line with the directives of National hajj commission of Nigeria concerning the 2025 hajj package, the Yobe State Pilgrims’ Commission has also announced the sum of N8.5m as the deposit for the 2025 hajj exercise.

The chairman further stated that the hajj deposit amounting to N8, 500, 000 million could be paid in either full or installmentally.

“Intending pilgrims can now make their deposit from M8.5 or below million to the commission’s account before further remittance to NAHCON,” he said.

The chairman directed all 17 local government fare collectors officers to promptly commence the registration  process for intending pilgrims, maintaining that all intending pilgrims can contact the hajj fare collectors in their respective local government areas.
