A top chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) from Cross River State, Distinguished Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, has called on members of the party to work hard to ensure the return of President Bola Tinubu to enable him continue with his reforms designed to reposition Nigeria for a better future.

Ndoma-Egba, a former Senate Leader and the Pro-Chancellor/Chairman Governing Council of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), is a member of the Central Coordinating Committee and Vice Chairman Legal Sub-Committee for the APC National Convention holding in Abuja from Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 28, 2026.

In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, before the commencement of the Convention meant to elect new officials for the party at the national level, the APC stalwart and legal luminary emphasized the need for all hands to be on deck to actualize the return of President Tinubu come 2027.

According to him, the President has initiated various reforms, programmes and policies that will require more time for him to push through in the interest of Nigerians and the betterment of the country.

“As we gather for the national convention of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to elect new national officials of the party who will make up the membership of the National Working Committee (NWC), we should remain committed to the sustenance of our democracy and work hard to return President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

“President Tinubu deserves to be re-elected and remain in office till 2031. From his governance approach so far and the tough but necessary decisions he has taken to guarantee a better future for the country; it is obvious that he means well for the Nigerian people. Therefore, as a party we have a great task before us to convince Nigerians of the need for him to continue with the various achievements he has recorded and the benefits of the several reforms he has embarked upon,” Ndoma-Egba said.

The erstwhile Senate Leader expressed confidence that the national convention will be hitch-free, smooth and successful with the level of preparations and arrangements already made through extensive planning and coordination across the various committees set up for the exercise.
