The member representing Fune/Fika federal constituency of Yobe State in the House of Representatives, Hon Muhammad Buba Jajere has called on youths, supporters, and stakeholders of the People Democratic party (PDP) to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Jajere made the call on Sunday during an interview with Journalists, where he urged all eligible people of the state, particularly the youths who have just attained the voting age, to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

He described the exercise as a vital component of what he called the struggle ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the lawmaker, the voter registration must be treated as a top priority in his constituency, stressing that the PVC remained the only legal instrument needed by citizens to effect change through the ballot.

Jajere encouraged those without PVCs to go to the nearest INEC office and register to participate in the 2027 general elections.

“Let’s go back to our various polling units and educate our people on the need to get their PVC and vote for the PDP,” he pleaded.

He also enjoined the eligible persons to become card-carrying members of political parties so they can be in position to vie for elective offices.

Jajere also commended the leadership of the PDP, and assured them of the unwavering support from the youths in his home state of Yobe State.

“We must all be involved in the electoral process by acquiring our voter’s card so we can be eligible to vote in 2027,” said Jajere.

He also pleaded with the youths and people of the state to continue giving their maximum cooperation and support to the PDP at the state and national levels.
