2027: Group Asks Haruna To Join Nasarawa Governorship Race

A group, Sarkin Sharifai Political Warriors in Nasarawa State, has appealed to Prof. Muhammad Sani Haruna (Sarkin Sharifai) to join the governorship race before the 2027 election.

The group made the call during yesterday’s solidarity rally at the Youth Centre Hall in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The group’s chairman, Alhaji Iyal Hassan Aliyu, said that after a thorough search, it discovered that Haruna is the best among the over 24 aspirants in the state.

According to him, the aspirant has achieved for the entire people of the state, particularly during his days as the NASENI boss, in the area of providing employment to the teaming youths, infrastructural developments, and his open-door policy, among other, humanitarian services, thereby making it necessary for the forum to persuade him to vie for the number one position of the state.

He added that the Sarkin Sharifai Political Warriors also comprises elder statesmen and women who served and are still serving in various political capacities in the state and beyond. These individuals saw the need to join the group after working with the professor and were aware of his abilities.

He said, “I want to use this medium to call on the entire state’s citizens, especially the youths, to rally around Prof. Muhammad Sani Haruna before, during, and after the forthcoming general elections to enable him to consolidate the democratic gains of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration.
