2027: I Want Another Southerner To Replace Tinubu — El-Rufai

Says I'm not sure of being in APC

Immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has said that he would want another Nigerian from the South to replace President Bola Tinubu in 2027 election circle.

El-Rufai disclosed this on Tuesday night while speaking on Arise News Channel’s PrimeTime show.

The embattled chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) also said he was not sure of remaining in the party by 2027.

He addressed the alleged lop-sided appointments by President Tinubu in favour of the South-West, saying that the President was rather favouring his ‘boys’ in appointments but not the Yorubas.
