Former minister of State for Science and Technology, Chief Henry Ikoh, has predicted victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking at the just-concluded APC National Summit, Ikoh stated that the event indicated Tinubu’s impending victory in the 2027 presidential election.

In a surprising twist, Ikoh urged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election Peter Obi to support Tinubu and the APC in the upcoming election in the country’s interest.

Applauding Tinubu and the former governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, the APC National Chairman, for their leadership within the party and the country, Ikoh expressed confidence in their ability to lead Nigeria to greater heights.

While acknowledging the nation’s current challenges, Ikoh emphasised that President Tinubu is laying a solid foundation for the country’s future.

He believes Nigeria is on the cusp of transitioning from a consumption-based economy to a production-driven nation, thanks to the visionary leadership of Tinubu and the APC.
