Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has accused opposition parties of relying on artificial intelligence (AI) for their campaigns rather than engaging in physical mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election.
Sani made the allegation on Saturday while addressing supporters at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna State.
“The opposition has now upgraded their campaigns from Facebook to Twitter (X) to artificial intelligence (AI),” the governor said.
He urged APC supporters to remain vigilant, alleging that opposition parties were using AI-generated content rather than conducting on-the-ground campaigns.
“I want to call the attention of our supporters to be very watchful, to be vigilant. The opposition is only campaigning with AI, no real campaign,” he said.
The governor also expressed appreciation to supporters and dignitaries who attended the rally, acknowledging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and others who travelled to Kaduna for the event.
“I want to thank you, thank Mr President and every other person who found time to be in Kaduna today to attend this very important groundbreaking event,” Sani added.
The rally marks the formal launch of the APC’s campaign for Tinubu’s re-election ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
