The National enrolment officer of NASSP-SU,  Muhammed Nura Adamu, disclosed this yesterday during a refresher training for cash transfer facilitators in Birnin Kebbi.

According to him,  after the training, the facilitators will go round all the LGAs in the state to sensitise the beneficiaries on how to receive the money through conditional cash transfers in three payment circles totaling N75, 000.

“We are urging the public in the state to visit their communities to be sure if their community is part of current disclosure and check their names on the disclosure list which is often displayed on a location agreed by the community members for unhindered access and convenience of the members for validation and enrolment,” Adamu said.

The office of the renewed hope conditional cash transfer and the local government desk officers can be reached for any complaints or grievances that may arise from the individuals during the enrolment process,” he added.

Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu who flagged-off the training urged the beneficiaries to provide their national identification numbers NIN properly during the enrolment process so as to meet the eligibility criteria for opening bank accounts in fulfilment of the recent Central Bank of Nigeria directive.

The governor who was represented by the commissioner for humanitarian affairs,  Hon. Muhammadu Hamidu Jarkuka, added that the enrolment strategy would help to ensure that all beneficiaries are included throughout the programme.
