278 Kebbi Pilgrims Return From Hajj

The last batch of 278 pilgrims returned to Birnin Kebbi from Saudi Arabia yesterday after the conclusion of 2026 hajj.

Speaking with journalists at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin Kebbi, the amirul-hajj, Alhaji Jafar Ahmad Jega, said this year’s exercise was conducted successfully in accordance with the state pilgrims’ welfare agency’s schedules and Saudi authorities’ rules and regulations.

He said all the committees set up by the agency did well in discharging their responsibilities during the exercise.

The amirul-hajj further disclosed that all pilgrims from the state were treated well in terms of feeding, accommodation and all other activities.

He commended Governor Nasir Idris for providing a conducive environment and welfare services for both the agency and the pilgrims.
