Sources in the area told LEADERSHIP Weekend that two people on motorcycle along Malele to Dangulbi Road were killed by the explosive while another person was killed after an explosive planted along Dansadau – Malamawa road went off.

They said the two killed along Malele – Dangulbi roads were gold miners on their way back from a mining site.

The sources further said the explosives were planted in different areas of Dansadau by bandits, as according to them, residents had cited some movement of bandits on Thursday night around the areas.

Another source who gave his name as Malam Auwal Dansadau, told Leadership Weekend that the two bandits’ leaders, Dogo Gide and Janbross were responsible for planting the explosives.
