About 30,000 households across Sokoto State have benefitted from Senator Aminu Tambuwal’s Ramadan package.

This is coming a day after thousands of PDP supporters and well-wishers converged on Senator Tambuwal’s residence at Gawon Mama to break Ramadan fast last Thursday.

In his remarks at the flag off of the distribution of bags of rice to PDP faithful across all the wards in the state, Senator Tambuwal said the distribution was to thank God for giving him the wealth and opportunity to assist the lower class.

“As we are in the holy month of Ramadan, we should exhibit the spirit of tolerance, sacrifice, prayer and forgiveness to one another, which is the beauty of our national life,” he said.

He appreciated PDP members for their continuous exercise of patience right from when they lost the governorship seat to the APC.
