The development came on the heels of a recent scrutiny of the research efforts of the academic staff members as a pre-requisite for the annual promotion exercise of the year 2023.

A report of the finding as presented to the University media team by the Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor on Digital Transformation and Technology,  Associate Professor Olusola A Ayanda, said 10 lecturers of the institution were also listed as outstanding scholars with profound number of h-index, i10-index and citation by the 2023 AD Scientific Index ranking as at August 24, 2023.
