36 -year-old Gay Rapes 5-year-old Boy To Death In Ogun

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 36-years old Gay, Sikiru Ajibola for raping a 5-year old boy to death and buried his corpse in a shallow grave in Ogijo area of Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

It was gathered that Ajibola was arrested last Friday from his residence at Olorunwa Arogbeja community following a report lodged with the police at the Ogijo Divisional Headquarters by the chairman of the Community Development Associations (CDA) who alerted the security operatives of the development.

The command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the arrest to newsmen on Saturday in Abeokuta, the state capital said Ajibola was arrested consequent upon the report lodged by the CDA chairman which further indicated that the 5-years old victim had died.

“Upon the report, the DPO Ogijo Division, CSP Enatufe Omoh quickly detailed his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested.

“On interrogation, the suspect confessed to being an homosexual and that while he was having sex with the deceased, the boy gave up the ghost. He confessed further that he quickly dug a shallow grave in a nearby bush, where he hurriedly buried the boy”.

The PPRO further stated that the suspect has since led police detectives to the shallow grave where the deceased was buried.

Oyeyemi however, disclosed that the command’s Commissioner of Police, ‘Lanre Bankole has ordered that the case be immediate transferred to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Departments (SCIID) for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
