4 Wanted Kidnappers Arrested In Adamawa

Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have nabbed four wanted suspected kidnappers in Ngurore in Yola South local government area and recovered AK-47.

The police in collaboration with hunters acted upon credible information and arrested one Saddam Ahmadu of Belel in Maiha local government area and Buba Adamu of Shani local government area, Borno State, who have been on the wanted list.

The suspects were arrested after allegedly collecting N4.7 million ransom from the relatives of the victims.

Other suspects arrested with the kingpins are Ahmed Muhammad, a 37-year-old resident of Song local government area and Muhammed Haruna, 25, a resident of Jambutu, Yola North local government area. The police said they were arrested in their hideout.

One AK-47 assault rifle with 25 rounds of live ammunitions were recovered from the suspects.
