Lagos State Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Hon. Tokunbo Wahab disclosed in a statement, stressing that the raid aims to enforce a safe and orderly environment for residents and businesses.

According to him, “Over the course of the night, the dedicated operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) patrol team covered key areas including Idowu Martins, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Akin Adesola, Samuel Manuwa, Muri Okunola, Ajose Adeogun, Lugard Avenue, Macdonald Road and other areas in Ikoyi and Victoria Island.”

The commissioner added that the corps in carrying out the raid targeted enhancing security and maintaining order across these neighbourhoods as part of the zero-tolerance for crime and Cleaner Lagos initiative of the state government.
