500 Benefit From Aisha Achimugu’s Ramadan Relief Initiative In Kogi

Renowned philanthropist, Dr. (Mrs.) Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu, through her non-governmental organisation, Sam Empowerment Foundation (SEF), has extended vital financial assistance to 500 individuals in the Aloji Community of Kogi State during the holy month of Ramadan.

The SEF Ramadan soft grant initiative, a testament to the spirit of generosity and compassion synonymous with Ramadan, aims to provide support to vulnerable communities, particularly during challenging times.

Program Director at Sam Empowerment Foundation, Mrs. Kiema Ogunlana, emphasised the significance of such gestures during Ramadan, highlighting the organieation’s commitment to addressing hunger and fostering solidarity, aligning with SDG2 (Zero Hunger).

The financial aid enables recipients to procure essential food items for sustenance during fasting, ensuring they observe Ramadan with dignity and comfort.

The NGO extended gratitude to all partners, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions made the initiative possible.

She also appreciated Dr. (Mrs.) Aisha Achimugu (OFR), President, and Founder, for her compassionate leadership and steadfast dedication to uplifting vulnerable members of society.

In addition to the financial support provided to 500 beneficiaries, Mrs. Ogunlana underscored the Foundation’s commitment to education by awarding scholarships to 21 deserving students in the Aloji Community.
