According to him, the mawill feature over 500 runners and more than 1,000 attendees, with activities beyond the race, including entertainment, exhibitions, networking, and community engagement.
“Additionally, we have introduced a mixed-gender novelty football match between the Abuja Charity Marathon Ambassadors and NUJ Abuja Chapter members, symbolising the unity and teamwork needed to drive social change,” he said.
Notable personalities expected to join this year’s marathon include His Royal Majesty, Igwe Samuel Asadu Ogadagidi, and Her Royal Majesty Queen Mother Dr Chetachi Ecton Nwoga, whose unwavering support for humanitarian causes continues to inspire others.

Amb. Dr Odey also commended the contributions of individuals and organisations partnering with his team for this year’s edition of the marathon, offering prayers for blessings upon them.
