6 Schools For Final Of Kwara Revenue Agency’s Quiz Competition

Six schools have qualified for the final stage of the 2024 Tax Club Quiz Competition organised by the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) in collaboration with the Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

LEADERSHIP Friday reports that 12 schools had qualified for the semi- final stage during the preliminary stages of the competition held from 24th June to 4th July, 2024 where 83 out of the 154 registered schools sat for the quiz from the comfort of their respective schools.

A statement from the Corporate Affairs department of KWIRS signed by Funmilola Oguntunbi, said six finalists emerged at the end of the semi-final held between Tuesday, 8th and Wednesday, 9th October, 2024 .

The qualified schools according to the statement are Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, Asa Dam, Ilorin, Government Secondary School, Lafiagi, Shepherd Secondary School, Lafiagi, Government Day Secondary School, Gaa-Akanbi Ilorin, Kwara State College of Education Model Secondary School, Oro and Anglican Boys’ Academy, Oro.

“The six schools will compete for the N2.5m grand prize at the final stage of the competition which will hold in Ilorin on 7th November, 2024,” the statement added.
