According to a statement signed by SFS Kabiru Isah Jaafar on behalf of the Public Relations Officer of the Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, properties worth ₦50.3 million were destroyed, while the Service was able to save assets valued at ₦180.3 million from fire. Additionally, seven persons were successfully rescued.

The statement further said that the Fire Service, under the leadership of its overseeing Director, Alhaji Sani Anas, has urged residents to handle fire with care to prevent further incidents.

It added that motorists were also advised to drive cautiously and adhere to traffic regulations, particularly on highways, to reduce the risk of accidents.
