A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sir Marc Wabara, has felicitated Muslim faithful as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.

In his Eid-el-Fitr message, Wabara reminded them that the lessons of the Ramandan, which teaches on the need for self-restraint, self-denial and deep spiritual consciousness, should be embraced and converted into normal ways of living.

He described sacrifice and obedience as virtues that all Nigerians must hold dear in our collective efforts of building a united and progressive nation on the foundation of love.

Wabara also advised the Muslim faithful to keep on with their practice of sharing of love and material things with neighbours and the most vulnerable members of the society, adding that, “we need one another to build a united and prosperous country that the future generations would see and be proud of their forefathers.”
