Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi has pleaded with the organised labour to support the incoming government of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in unifying the country and tackle insecurity, corruption and economic instability.

He also pleaded with the Nigerian workers to partner the government in the crusade for justice and fairness.

Oyebanji spoke yesterday in Ado Ekiti, the state capital at an event held to commemorate the 2023 International Workers’ Day held at the Ekiti Parapo pavilion.

He said hands must be on deck to halt the multifaceted challenges confronting the country.

“As we head towards a new era in the history of our nation, let us imbibe the spirit of unity, cooperation and selflessness.”

“Let me appeal to organised labour to continue to sensitise the citizens and the federal government on the need to imbibe the spirit of fairness and equity in the distribution of national resources.
