An Apple TV+ limited series The Crowded Room starring Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried is set for global release on June 9.
The Crowded Room tells the story of Danny Sullivan (Tom Holland) who is arrested for his involvement in a shooting incident in New York in 1979. Through a series of interviews with an interrogator Rya Goodwin played by Amanda Seyfried Danny’s story unfolds, revealing his mysterious past and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.
The thriller series is inspired by Daniel Keyes The Minds of Billy Milligan, a real-life story of a killer with 24 multiple personalities and eight regular ones, and brought to screen in Netflix’s 2022 documentary, Monsters Inside: The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan.
Screenplay is by the academy award-winning writer of A Beautiful Mind, Akiva Goldsman, and executive produced by Goldsman, Suzanne Heathcote, Tom Holland, Alexandra Milchan, Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, Kornel Mundruczo and Michael Schaefer.
Besides Holland and Seyfried, other cast members include, Emma Laird, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Henry Eikenberry, Christopher Abbott and Lior Raz.
The Crowded Room will release for global streaming from June 9, 2023.
