The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has announced that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will on Thursday, May 18, 2023, conduct a computer-based aptitude test for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) nationwide.

The board, in a statement signed by its secretary, Ja’rafaru Ahmed, enjoined candidates who applied for recruitment into the two paramilitary agencies to visit the Board’s portal at cdcfib.career to check if they were successful and proceed to print their invitation letter.

It explained that this was also in line with the present regime’s policy thrust of ensuring transparency in the conduct of government business.

The statement reads in part, “A Computer-Based Test (CBT) has been scheduled to hold on Thursday 18th May, 2023 across all states and applicants are mandated to be at their respective designated centres on or before 6:30am for accreditation. The Board directed shortlisted applicants to go to the examination venue along with originals and photocopies of means of National Identification Slip (NIN Slip), International Passports or Voter’s Card for identification at the venue of the Computer-based Aptitude Test.”

According to Ahmed, applicants, by the said notice, should ensure that they followed strictly the information contained in their invitation letters.
