The public affairs officer of the agency in the state, Henry E. Ihebuzor disclosed this yesterday in a press release he issued to journalists.
According to him, the special operation was in response to a directive from the chairman/chief executive officer of NDLEA Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (rtd).
He revealed that the drugs seized consisted of 2.570kgs of cannabis sativa and 84gms of psychotropic substances, bringing the total seizure to 2.654kgs.
The agency warned drug dealers and traffickers in the state to desist from the act or face the wrath of the law saying their search light is in all the nooks and crannies of the state to rid it of illicit drug activities.
“The raids and dislodgements are across the state at different locations particularly at drug joints and black spots.
“This exercise will be sustained even after the handover ceremonies and that there will be no hiding place for drug dealers and traffickers in the state,” he said.
