Governor of Kebbi State Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has commissioned 500 housing units as part of his efforts to mitigate the shortage of accommodation for civil servants in the state.
The housing units were constructed by his administration in collaboration with a firm, Family House Funds Limited under a public private partnership (PPP).
Speaking while commissioning the project, Bagudu said the housing units marked the fulfillment of the promise of his administration to provide all the required infrastructure at the estate.
He said within the eight years of his administration, the government has allocated over 1000 plots of lands to different individuals and organisations.
He assured that the incoming administration of Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu will sustain the laudable projects executed by his administration.
