Kogi Monarch, Obaje Hails Atta Of Igala On Conferment Of CFR National Honour

A traditional ruler the Eje ofu HRH. Alhaji Akwu Obaje has congratulated the President of the Kogi State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Majesty, Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche-Akpa, on the award of national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic, CFR, by the Federal Government under the leadership of the immidiete past administration of former president Muhammadu Buhari.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Eje of ofu described the honour as well-deserved.

He noted that honour was a result of the recognition of the monarch’s distinct leadership stride which brings progress, harmony, and development that Igalaland has witnessed under the royal reign of Alaji Mathew Opaluwa, emphasizing that his ascension to the esteemed throne of Atta Igala signifies prosperity for the Igala nation.

The statement maintain that the roles played by the Monach in the comity of traditional rulers in igala land and Nigeria in general noting that the Attah of igala has demonstrated genuine interest and commitment in the uplifting of human and community development endeavours.

According to the statement its “Undoubtedly, Igalaland has experienced unparalleled peace, unity, and development under your reign since the Monach ascended the throne of his forefathers as the Atta Igala as the people of Ofu local government of the stae has never reneged on his disposition for equity, justice and unity of the state.

The statement further promised to support the Attah of igala in his style of leadership in promoting peace and development to his people, the state and Nigeria at large.
