Commonwealth Handball Association (CHA) has congratulated Nigerians at home and in diaspora on the occasion of another successful transition to democratically-elected administration.

Secretary General of the association,  Saidu Jubril, in a felicitation message to Nigerians, said the entire Africans look up to Nigeria for direction, and therefore must evolve from the evident limitations and drawbacks.

“The fact that Africa remains at the cornerstone of Nigeria’s foreign policy is the more reason why the democratically elected duo of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima should adopt sports as a vital instrument of economic prosperity, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, antisocial vices and projection of the country’s external image. This is achievable for a better Nigeria we can all be proud of,” Jubril, a renowned international handball administrator said.

He assured the commitment of the CHA secretariat to the pragmatic development of the sport at all levels of education in the country in partnerships with other international organizations. While wishing President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his vice Senator Kashim Shettima successful tenure, he prayed that their administration brings best tidings to the Nigerian sports sector.
