Overcoming The Storms Of Life Through Christ

TEXT:  LUKE 8:22-25

My brothers and sisters, when you know you will still do it, why disobey God in the first place? God said without holiness, no man shall see Him, why are you delaying, doubting and being sluggish to obey when you know you have no choice? Jesus said except a man be born again, he cannot enter into His Kingdom, why not obey promptly? The depravity and disobedience has to go for the Lord to hear and answer your prayers.

3. THE UNDENIABLE DELIVERANCE OF SAINTS FROM STORMS

(Hosea 10:12; Psalm 18:18-24; 2 Corinthians 1:9-10; Luke 1:73-75)

2 Corinthians 1:9-10

• 9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
• 10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

Can you point to any work of deliverance in your life in the past? God has delivered you in the past, He is delivering now and will yet deliver in the future. Always remember the word of God, say it outside there in the world because it is as powerful out there as it is powerful in the church. The problem is that we say different words in the homes, in our business places, in sickness and storms than what we say in the church. Let the word of God be strong in your mouth and it will bring deliverance to you in Jesus name.

1. THE HEALING OF THE SICK AS OUR PRIVILEGE. Matthew 14:14,34-36

They brought to Jesus all who were diseased, and He healed them all. Ease is when you are calm, in rest, joy, happiness with no problems in the body, and in good health, but disease is anything that contradicts your ease and wellness. That is why it is called disease (dis ease) God will set you free and bring the peace in relation to ease into your life.

1. THE TOUCH OF HEALING IN HIS PRESENCE

(Matthew 14:35-36; Mark 5:25-34; 8:22-25; 6:54-56)

The woman with the issues of blood did not have any chance to touch or bow down in the presence of the Lord. She didn’t have the opportunity to pour oil on His legs, and wipe them with her hair. She just touched His garment, and she was made whole. The woman made the decision in her heart before touching the Lord. As soon as she did by faith, she was healed, straightway, the fountain of her blood dried up. Virtue came out of the Lord and healed her, and the Lord also declared her healed and made whole.

What you say will determine whether you will be a victim or a victor. Not just the touch, but the prayer and the faith and you will be healed.

2. THE THOROUGHNESS OF HIS HEALING WITHOUT PRICE

(Matthew 14:36; Acts 3:16; John 7:23; 3 John 1:2,6-7)

As many as touched the Lord were made perfectly whole, and the healing was thorough and whole. This will be your portion in Jesus name. As you touch Him, you will be made whole. You will have perfect soundness.

3. THE TRANSFER OF HIS HEALING WITH TRIUMPHANT POWER

(Matthew 10:1,7-8; Mark 16:15-20; Luke 10:1,9,17-20; John 14:12-14)

The command was simple, go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creatures, and that is what we must be doing.

When you have a battery that is not properly charged, plug and charge it. As you charge the battery, it will come up and your device will be running. And whenever your battery goes down, talking about it, accusing your wife or anyone else will not work. Plug it to the original socket and let it charge. Wait till it is 100% and as you call heaven, you will be heard.

God will fulfill all His promises for you. The battery of faith is fully charged and you can now go into the world and preach the gospel. God will go with you. The word of authority is in your mouth. When your battery of faith is fully charged, nothing of the devil will harm you. It is time to get your requests to heaven, open your mouth and talk to the Lord in prayer.
