Kaduna Govt Partners Financial Firm To Boost IGR, Generates N58.1bn In 2022

Kaduna State government said it has commenced discussion with a renowned financial consulting firm, Deloitte Nigeria, to assist the State in boosting its Internally General Revenue (IGR).

The government noted that the 2022 IGR of Kaduna State, stood at N58.1 billion.

During a meeting to mark the commencement of the partnership held in Government House , Kaduna State governor, Sen. Uba Sani, reiterated his commitment to boosting the IGR in order to achieve sustainable growth and development of the state.

The governor in his remarks at the meeting with the representatives of Deloitte Nigeria, expressed optimism that the Firm will fashion out strategies that will help achieve the set goal.

Uba Sani also expressed confidence that with the collaborative efforts of all the government MDAs, the strategies will be successfully implemented and lead to the desired increased revenue generation for the sustainable growth and development of Kaduna State.

The chief press secretary to the Governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, who issued the statement after the meeting said Deloitte Nigeria, presented their recommendations on how the state can rapidly increase its revenue generation.
