Yobe State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon Muhammad Gadaka, has assured that the party will punish members who engaged in anti-party activities during the last 2023 general election.
Speaking yesterday during a meeting with the 17 local government chairmen and secretaries of the party, he said that Governor Mai Mala Buni and other stakeholders were seriously disturbed by the members activities across the 17 LGAs against the success of the party in the elections.
According to him, “I want to use this opportunity to speak on behalf of the governor as well as stakeholders that whoever was found to have sabotaged the party during the last general election would be sanctioned and suspended from the party.”
Gadaka called on the 17 local government chairmen to critically look into the allegations levelled against some of the members of the party and bring forward the names of those who had been involved in anti-party activities during the elections without fear or favour.
He said the party was ever-ready to entertain complaints on those working against the interest of the APC in Yobe State, and commended those who stood firm to ensure the success of the party in the state.
He called on the members of the APC in the state to continue to support the leadership of the party and appealed to the stakeholders across the state to support the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni in the interest of the people and in order to move the state forward.
