The Governorship Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Hon. Uche Ben Odunzeh has vowed to end killing of imo youths if elected governor of the state

The Governorship Candidate who decried the spate of wanton killings in the state said his administration will bring to end all forms of insecurity in imo state

Hon. Odunzeh revealed that one of the factor’s that has fueled insecurity in the state is unemployment and insincerity of those in government stressing that his administration will tackle issue of unemployment

“Unemployment of the youths and insincerity of those in government has resulted to this insecurity we are witnessing. People resort to crime because they have no social or economic address but our government will tackle unemployment by creating massive job”

“There’s a lot of opportunities untapped in areas of agriculture and creative industry. Our administration will leverage on the creative industry to pull out our youths from jobless”

Condemning the insecurity in the state, he called on the imo state Governor to be proactive and provide leadership to bring killings of imo youths to an end.

 

Equally, he called on President Bola Tinubu to look into the reckless killings in imo state and come to the aide of the state as the issue is almost going out of control on the dawn of every day
