Another batch of 269 Kwara State’s pilgrims that performed this year’s hajj in Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday, returned to Nigeria.
The pilgrims, who boarded Air Peace’s aircraft departed Jeddah International Airport, Saudi Arabia, at 9.45am and arrived Ilorin International Airport at 1.38pm.
The first batch of 272 pilgrims from the state had last Wednesday returned to Ilorin.
The pilgrims, who were received by their families and relations at the airport, were in high spirit.
Some of the pilgrims, including AbdulRasheed AbdulKadir Olesin, thanked God for granting them a successful hajj operation and for ensuring their safe return to Nigeria.
They expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the members of the State Pilgrims Board and government’s delegation while in he holy land.
