Lagos International Film and Cinema Convention (LIFACC) is set to become the most prestigious gathering of film producers, distributors, cinema owners, equipment manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, including streaming platforms in the film and cinema sector from around the world in an event that will be held today in Lagos State.

The event kicks off today, and will run till July 22, 2023, at the Radisson BLU Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

The inaugural edition of LIFACC will witness the convergence of a diverse range of cinema stakeholders, film producers, and distributors from across Nigeria and Africa.

In addition, renowned cinema equipment and facilities manufacturers, suppliers, and solution providers from around the globe will come together to exhibit their products and forge new business opportunities.

One of the unique features of LIFACC is the opportunity for casual networking for all delegates. The convention will culminate with a post-event reception and party on a boat, offering delegates a chance to explore the stunning coastlines of Lagos while visiting one or two tourist locations in Badagry.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Lagos International Film and Cinema Convention,” the founder and CEO of LIFACC, Mr. Theo Akatugba, said

“This event aims to provide a platform for industry professionals to come together, exchange ideas, showcase their products, and explore new collaborations. Lagos, with its vibrant film and cinema sector, is the perfect host city for this convention, and we look forward to welcoming participants from around the world.”

LIFACC promises an exciting lineup of exhibitions, panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops that will cover various aspects of the film and cinema industry. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights into the latest trends, technologies, and business strategies that are shaping the future of the global film and cinema sector.
