Kelechi Iheanacho heads a list of Brendan Rodgers-era players who may depart Leicester this summer as new boss, Enzo Maresca, reshapes his squad for the championship.

Several Premier League clubs are thought to have been made aware that Iheanacho, who has a year left on his contract, would be available at the right price.

With James Maddison sold to Tottenham for £40million in June and Harvey Barnes set to join Newcastle for about £35m by the end of this week – as revealed by Mail Sport on Wednesday – the changing of the guard at Leicester is gathering pace.

Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare and Timothy Castagne are among those who could leave in the coming weeks, releasing funds to bring in new players.

Since appointing Maresca, Leicester have added England internationals Conor Coady and Harry Winks from Wolves and Tottenham respectively, as well as bringing in Danish goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from Brondby and defender Callum Doyle on loan from Maresca’s former club Manchester City.

Barnes’ move progresses as expected, Leicester may consider a move for Ryan Giles, the Wolves winger available for about £5m and also targeted by Middlesbrough and newly-promoted Luton.

Maresca is hopeful of keeping James Justin – who missed six months of last season with a serious knee injury – Ricardo Pereira and club icon Jamie Vardy, who has a year left on his contract and turns 37 in January.
