Energy stakeholders are expected to converge at the upcoming Nigeria Energy Exhibition and Conference to address the critical challenge of Africa’s energy access.

Organised by Informa Markets, a global exhibitions organiser, the 10th edition scheduled to hold from the 19th to 21st of September 2023 in Lagos is themed, ‘Unlocking new value with reforms, investments and technology,’ and will bring together government, private sector, and investors to find solutions to the challenges facing Nigeria and West Africa’s electricity sector.

This year’s anniversary edition will present delegates with the unique opportunity to hear, engage, and network with key industry stakeholders within the sector.

To celebrate its milestone, the Nigeria Energy Exhibition and Conference, with a focus on addressing the critical challenge of energy access, will feature two impactful conferences including a high-level Leadership Summit and a Technical Seminar.

The summit will gather senior stakeholders involved in the value chain, including government dignitaries, gas-to-power generation companies, independent power producers, generation, distribution, and transmission companies, technology providers, financiers, and agencies facilitating the development of renewable and off-grid solutions, with a mission to find solutions to the most pertinent issues in the sector.

Exhibition director – Energy portfolio – MEA, Informa Markets, Ade Yesufu, said: “Nigeria and West Africa’s Energy sector are currently undergoing a significant transformation, with a strong emphasis on addressing the critical challenge of energy access.

“Nigeria has abundant natural resources making it capable of improving the country’s electrification rate and achieving its energy goals with the right investment and policies.”

Over the years, the Nigeria Energy Exhibition and Conference has gathered local and international stakeholders to collaborate across the value chain and proffer solutions to the region’s energy challenges.

With its 10th anniversary, this 2023 edition will build on past success and offer special high-level seminars targeted at proffering viable mechanisms to solve the challenges in the Energy sector.
