Asiabaka Chukwudi Justin, a fast-rising hip-hop star, producer and hypeman to Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, has said that he finds immense pleasure weaving from music production to promotion and to hyping celebrities.
This is even as he added that the heavyweight music producer, and CEO of Mavins Records, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, is among his biggest mentors in the industry.
The entertainer made the announcement while speaking with journalists in Lagos on Sunday.
He noted that he has a great love for music production and promotion, adding that entertaining is his passion therefore he does the things he’s known with ease.
“I have a great love for music – production and promotion.
“Everything about entertainment is a passion for me. I have not stopped managing my talents. I still manage artists. I can’t stop what’s passion for me. I’ll always want to be in the scene of music and managing talents.
“From music production, promotion, management, hyping… All of that is the embodiment of entertainment. Everything is one. For me, as long as you want to be an entertainer, you can be doing all of this. It works for me.
“They are symbiotic to me. I can switch – hype, sing, manage, promote, produce. I do all of that. It’s actually something that’s easy for me. It’s like I’m doing the same thing. So far they are under entertainment,” he said.
Speaking about his dream in five years to come, the celebrity hypeman said he has a great dream to go farther in the industry in five years’ time.
He said he sees himself as a CEO of a well-standing record label where talents would be groomed and managed for global relevance.
“In five years, I want to own a record label. Where I can sign up artists and have talents sign up for my label.
“The way Jazzy is, and like other artists. I want to have a label where I have a video director, and graphics person, among others that make up a complete entertainment house.”
He maintained that his passion is to see others get to the peak of their career through his record label.
“I will help young people grow up and get to the zenith of their career.”
