Nigeria’s international, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly agreed to a new contract with Serie A champions, Napoli.

The Super Eagles player, who has two years remaining on his existing contract, will sign a two-year extension.

Osimhen’s wages have improved to €10m per season, including bonuses and a portion of his image rights.

Two release clauses will also be inserted in the new contract, one for clubs in Europe and the other for the Saudi Pro League.

Napoli recently turned down two lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal, for the forward.

Osimhen helped the Partenopei win their first Scudetto in over 30 years last season.

The 24-year-old was the top scorer with 26 goals from 32 games, becoming the first Nigerian to achieve the feat in Serie A.
