Foundation Distributes Relief Materials In Adamawa’s 21 LGAs

Adamawa philanthropist, Dr Emmanuel Musa, have distributed food and non-food items as relief materials to cushion the effect of the current economic hardship being experienced by the people Adamawa State.

Dr. Musa gave out bags of cement, bundles of roofing sheets, mattresses, bales of clothing materials, bags of corn, rice, sugar, salt, and urged well-to-do people of the State to key into similar gesture to provide relief to ordinary Nigerians.

The project tagged ‘Emmamu Foundation 2023 Annual Food and Non-food Intervention’, took place under the theme, ‘Advancing a Common Humanity Our Responsibility’.

He said 30,000 people were expected to benefit from the relief items to be distributed across the 21 LGAs of the State.

“We are here today to flag off food and non-food items, targetted at over 30,000 people in the state.

“The gesture is to support people of the state in our own little way to reduce hardship,” he stated.

For his part, National Coordinator of the initiative, Chakukuya Godwin, stated that, “we must give generously to the people outside our families.

“We must constantly ask ourselves: how can we help other people not as privileged as myself.”

District Head of Hong, Umar Mahmud, appreciated the gesture extended to his subjects and asked others to emulate the philanthropist.
