Hollywood actress, Halle Berry, has come to an agreement with her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, to pay him $8,000 per month in child support as part of their divorce settlement.

The details of the settlement were revealed through documents obtained by the PA news agency.

In addition to the monthly child support, Berry, an Oscar-winning actress, will also be required to pay 4.3 per cent of any income she earns beyond two million dollars (£1.6m).

This provision highlights the potential for additional financial support from Berry in case her income surpasses the specified threshold.

The former couple, both 57 years old, tied the knot in 2013 and finalized their divorce in 2015. They share a nine-year-old son named Maceo. The divorce settlement outlines several financial commitments from Berry towards the care and upbringing of their child.

As part of the settlement terms, Halle Berry will cover Maceo’s private school tuition, including the cost of his uniform and school supplies. However, these payments will be directed to the school directly rather than to Olivier Martinez. The actress has also agreed to be responsible for 100 per cent of the expenses related to any extracurricular activities that have been mutually agreed upon.

Furthermore, the settlement stipulates that Berry will reimburse Martinez for expenses incurred during the 2023/2024 school year. This arrangement underlines the commitment of both parties to provide for the child’s education and overall well-being.
