Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as AY, has revealed that the only belongings he had left with him were those he travelled with before the fire incident at his house some weeks ago.
LEADERSHIP reports that the comedian’s Lagos residence was gutted by fire early this month.
Speaking about his predicament in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), AY, who expressed how he felt about losing all his valuables to the fire incident, however, added that there was ‘no going back to square one’.
AY wrote: “It feels weird to realize that the only shoes, jewelry and clothes I have right now are the ones I travelled with.
“There is no such thing as going back to square one.”
The movie producer, actor and entertainer had earlier confirmed via Instagram that his family was safe as they were out of the country at the time of the fire outbreak and gave gratitude to God for his protection.
