Reps Member Ugochinyere Floats Scholarship Scheme For Constituents

A member of the House of Representatives representing Ideato North/South federal constituency of Imo State, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu, has initiated a scholarship scheme for students in his constituency.

The scholarship award is designed to empower exceptional students from the area, who are aspiring for academic excellence, to achieve their dreams and attain their full academic potential.

The examination for the scholarship award will be an annual exercise for eligible students.

The maiden scholarship examination is scheduled to hold on September 19, 2023 and is open to eligible JSS1, SS1 and Year-1 students of any Nigerian University.

A statement by Ugochinyere said application forms for the Ikenga Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu scholarship examination are obtainable from traditional rulers of communities in Ideato North and Ideato South local government areas of Imo State.

This scholarship scheme reflects Hon. Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu’s commitment to education and empowering future leaders.

“Our expectation is that at the end of the day, no brilliant child from Ideato nation will be denied the opportunity to aspire to the highest level of academic excellence because his or her parents is unable to pay tuition fees and upkeep,” Ugochinyere said.
