The deputy governor, Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, gave the hint yesterday when he received a proposal from the managing director and chief executive officer (MD/CEO) of S.D. Agro Industries Limited, Mr Sanjay K. Singh, on the joint ventures in his office in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

He said the state government would undertake an assessment of the factory before signing the partnership with private firms.  He asked for synergy between S.D. Agro Industries and the local factories for the success of the venture.
