Kebbi State government has entered into partnership with S.D. Agro Industries Limited and other local neem factories to revive the state organic fertiliser factory.

The deputy governor, Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, gave the hint yesterday when he received a proposal from the managing director and chief executive officer (MD/CEO) of S.D. Agro Industries Limited, Mr Sanjay K. Singh, on the joint ventures in his office in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

He said the state government would undertake an assessment of the factory before signing the partnership with private firms.  He asked for synergy between S.D. Agro Industries and the local factories for the success of the venture.

Singh sought the partnership with the state government to revive the abandoned fertiliser factory at Bulasa in order to produce fertiliser and other products.
