This followed assurance by the Abia State commissioner for trade, commerce and industry, Chimezie Ukaegbu, yesterday, after a tour of the complex.

He said the present administration in the state had put machinery in place which includes reviving of moribund industries and factories to boost the economy of the state.

“This administration, headed by Governor Alex Otti, has pledged to do everything necessary to ensure that this complex and similarly others are put back on track,” he noted.

“The visit is for me to have first hand information of your challenges and inline with Otti’s interest in restoring Aba as the industrial hub of the state and the country at large.”
