LEADERSHIP observed a sudden panic buying of Petrol by motorists and other users at Petrol Stations within Abuja on Friday evening.

But, in a terse statement posted on its verified social media handles on Friday, titled, “Important Notice”, the public oil company asked Nigerians to buy the best-quality products at the most affordable prices at NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.

NNPCL wrote: “Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPC Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated.

“Please buy the best-quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.”
