The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has debunked speculation that it planned to increase pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as Petrol.

LEADERSHIP observed a sudden panic buying of Petrol by motorists and other users at Petrol Stations within Abuja on Friday evening.

But, in a terse statement posted on its verified social media handles on Friday, titled, “Important Notice”, the public oil company asked Nigerians to buy the best-quality products at the most affordable prices at NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.
